01
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file stored by a website in your browser. Emposola also uses local storage and session storage, which are browser storage technologies rather than cookies. They can remember a preference, preserve a session identifier, or keep the site working between page loads. Your browser lets you inspect, block, or clear these technologies; clearing them may reset preferences or sign you out.
Essential storage supports security, navigation, authentication, cart/session behavior, and remembering your consent choice. It is used because the website feature you requested depends on it. It is not used to infer your interests for advertising.
02
Optional analytics
If you enable analytics, the site may create a pseudonymous session record and collect page paths, referrer, device type, browser, operating system, screen dimensions, and approximate country or city based on an IP lookup through ipapi.co. Analytics records may be associated with an account when you are signed in. The purpose is to understand site use and improve the website, not to identify you by name from browsing activity.
Analytics is off unless you enable it. Declining or disabling it stops future analytics page-view collection. The record of your consent choice may still be kept to remember and demonstrate that choice. Revoking consent does not automatically erase analytics records already collected; contact us if you want to make a separate deletion request, subject to legal and security exceptions.
03
Marketing preference
The preference panel includes a marketing choice for future use. At the effective date of this notice, the site does not activate third-party advertising pixels based on that setting. The preference is stored so a later change can be handled consistently; enabling it does not itself promise or cause a particular marketing tracker to run. Newsletter emails are controlled separately by your subscription and unsubscribe choices.
04
Third-party content and provider storage
Maps, payment checkout, embedded content, social links, and external services may use their own browser technologies when you interact with them. For example, a map or hosted payment page may be provided by Google, Apple, or Stripe under that provider’s policies. We do not control storage on a third-party domain. Review that provider’s notice and browser controls for details.
05
How to change your choice
Use the preference controls below to save a new choice at any time. You can also clear site storage in your browser. If you clear storage, the consent panel may appear again. Essential storage cannot be switched off through this panel because account sign-in, security, and site operation rely on it; you can block all storage in your browser, but some features may then stop working.
Your saved choice is recorded with a version and timestamp so the site can remember it. A choice applies to this browser and device; if you use another device or clear storage, you may need to set it again.
06
Retention and more information
Consent and analytics records are retained only as needed for site operation, measurement, security, and legal obligations. The Privacy Policy explains the data categories, service providers, international processing, rights, retention, and account-deletion process. For a privacy request or question, contact emposola@emposola.com.
Manage preferences
Essential storage is always on. Choose whether optional analytics and future marketing measurement may be used.
